What I've put it through
I’ve carried this knife through weekend tent setups and trail loops across Texas state parks—from rocky limestone terrain to dense cedar brakes. I've used it to carve custom stakes out of dry hardwood, baton and feather-stick fallen cedar and mesquite for campfires, prep food, and slice through thick nylon cordage. The Swedish stainless steel handles high humidity and morning dew without a speck of rust, and the sharp 90-degree spine throws a massive shower of sparks off a ferro rod when you need a flame going fast. It’s been dropped on hard limestone, baked in Texas summer heat, and put through heavy repetitive work. It’s scratched up, but the edge holds and the structural integrity is bulletproof.
